Legal & General Affordable Homes makes senior hire

Legal & General Affordable Homes (LGAH) has hired Catherine Raynsford as managing director, stock acquisitions. 

Raynsford has more than 20 years of sector experience and was most recently a director at The Hyde Group, where she led the establishment of its investment function and spearheaded the delivery of affordable housing in partnership with institutional capital. Prior to that, she held a senior client-facing role at JLL and development positions at housing associations.  

In her new role, she will lead on the acquisition of existing homes, the sustainable retrofitting of acquired stock and the development of large-scale partnerships.
