Avison Young UK has promoted David Willmer to the role of managing director of its industrial and logistics team.
Willmer, who has more than 40 years of experience in the industrial and distribution sector, previously headed up the industrial and logistics team in Avison Young’s Birmingham office.

As part of our focus on investing in our people and expanding our offering for our clients, we are confident David will be an expert lead for our Industrial and Logistics team in key regional and London markets. His predecessor, Andrew Jackson, has built a brilliant team of sector experts and we wish him all the best going forward.”
Willmer added: “I am excited to take on this new role, leading our industrial team as we pursue growth and new opportunities for clients. Recognising our established reputation across the UK, I’m eager to deepen our strong client relationships and build on our recent successes. In 2024, our national team have transacted approximately 7.4m sq ft, and I look forward to building on this momentum.”
