Cluttons has promoted head of infrastructure Darren Zitren to equity partner.

Zitren, who joined Cluttons in 2008 as a graduate, became a partner in 2014 and been instrumental in the expansion of the company’s telecoms service, which has grown from a team of seven to nearly 60 people across the UK.

Zitren said: “I’m honoured to be joining the equity partnership having started as a graduate. In the 16 years since I joined, Cluttons has transformed and diversified itself into exciting new fields, as well as grow into new geographies. I’m beyond proud to be part of that.”

John Gravett, managing director of Cluttons, added: “Darren’s journey is an inspiration for the entire team at Cluttons. His valuable skill set has enabled us to expand into emerging markets and grow our capabilities to suit these sectors. Darren’s character and professionalism have also made him a great mentor to colleagues and new joiners alike, and he has played a key role supporting our graduates.”

James Gray, CEO of Cluttons, said: “His new position as equity partner is testament to how Darren embodies Cluttons’ values and his commitment to our future growth. Cluttons is embedded in the fabric of British real estate. While we’re an established business, we’re always looking to the future and having people like Darren in the team helps us achieve that.

“Since arriving in 2008, it’s been clear that Darren was destined to play a critical role in Cluttons’ evolution and growth. This promotion shows the esteem and value we place in the work he has done and will continue to do for Cluttons.”
