Brookfield Properties has completed a flurry of new lettings across its London office portfolio in Q4 2024.
Global recruitment specialist Phaidon International has signed for 42,000 sq ft at Citypoint, British Gas distribution company SGN has taken 15,000 sq ft at Nexus and the Association of British Insurers has signed for 14,000 sq ft at 30 Fenchurch Street.
These deals took Brookfield’s total London office leasing activity in 2024 to more than 800,000 sq ft, with the company’s 5m sq ft portfolio nearly 98% let.
In addition to achieving strong rental growth across its prime office assets, Brookfield said new benchmark rents were achieved at 100 Bishopsgate, One Leadenhall, 30 Fenchurch Street and Citypoint in 2024.
Martin Wallace, head of leasing at Brookfield Properties UK, said: “From these deals it’s clear that there remains strong appetite for high quality buildings in the right locations. We’re especially pleased to be continuing our relationship with established, long-term tenants. Repeat business is something that the team at Brookfield Properties takes a lot of pride in as we continually work to deliver the best possible experience to our tenants.”
