Cushman & Wakefield has bolstered its UK land, development and planning team by hiring Max Lavan as a senior consultant.

Lavan joins Cushman & Wakefield from infrastructure consulting firm AECOM where he worked as an economic development consultant for the past three years.

In his new role, he will be based in Manchester and will primarily support clients in securing public sector funding for land, property, and infrastructure schemes, focusing on the provision of business case development and appraisal, and economic modelling advice to both public and private sector clients.

Ben Pretty, partner in Cushman & Wakefield’s land, development and planning team, said: “Max is a fantastic addition to our growing team and brings a good economic development track record with a strong focus on business cases and impact assessment. He will play a key role nationally in enhancing our capacity and skills in this space.”
