Canada Life Asset Management appoints new head of UK property

Canada Life Asset Management has appointed Robin James from LaSalle Investment Management as the company’s new head of UK property.

James, who has more than 28 years of real estate fund management experience, was head of transactions UK and Ireland at LaSalle and prior to that he was head of real estate investment at a sharia-compliant merchant bank and worked for JLL as a director in its capital markets team.

He succeeds Michael White, who retired from Canada Life Asset Management in December 2024.
