Ho Bee Land has appointed Federico Bianchi to the newly created role of UK CEO.

Bianchi, who has 25 years’ experience of the European real estate industry, was most recently a managing director and head of asset management in Europe for Starwood Capital Group, where he also sat on the investment committee. Prior to this, he spent four years at BentallGreenOak, overseeing a €1.5bn portfolio.

Bianchi’s appointment follows that of Gerald Kaye, who joined the Singaporean property investor and developer as UK deputy chairman in September 2024.

Nicholas Chua, group CEO, said: “Fede brings an exceptional track record of optimising large-scale real estate portfolios, executing value-add strategies, and positioning assets for long-term success. His leadership will help strengthen our UK operations and unlock future growth opportunities.

“Fede’s appointment, together with Gerald’s last year, enables Ho Bee Land to deliver an active approach to managing our UK office portfolio, ensuring that we capture, execute and deliver on the multiple opportunities across our London assets. Their strategic insights will be instrumental as we evolve our asset management and capital deployment strategies.”

Bianchi added: “I am incredibly excited to be joining Ho Bee Land and to be leading their new UK team, which I look forward to growing further. Ho Bee Land is an impressive and best-in-class investor, having distinguished themselves over the course of the last four decades for their pioneering, high-quality projects, and for their excellence in real estate investment and development.

“Building on Ho Bee Land’s quality London portfolio that was accumulated over 10 years, we will be delivering on value-enhancing opportunities across the existing portfolio, as well as leveraging the company’s expertise into new investment opportunities and sectors.”

Kaye said: “Ho Bee Land has built an enviable portfolio comprised of assets which will benefit from a dedicated ‘on the ground’ presence to capitalise on improving occupier demand for best-in-class London offices. Fede is a thoughtful and mature business leader, and he has an impressive breadth of experience across real estate investment and asset management. I am looking forward to be working with him on the next chapter of the company’s UK growth.”
