Avison Young has hired Joanne de la Porte from Gleeds as principal and head of public sector and health.
De la Porte has 25 years’ experience in senior consultancy and delivery, spanning healthcare, the public sector and digital and data management roles across the construction sector.
At Gleeds, she was a senior director, head of the south UK healthcare unit and a member of the London senior leadership team.
Prior to that, she spent 10 years at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as capital programme manager and three years at Dartford Borough Council.
In her new role, de la Porte will focus on developing and implementing a national strategy, to build and grow Avison Young’s advisory service lines across the public and health sectors.
