Valor Real Estate Partners has acquired a light industrial unit in Silvertown, London, on behalf of its joint venture with QuadReal Property Group for an undisclosed price.
The 4,100 sq m (circa 44,000 sq ft) unit is let to Restore, a relocation, storage and records management company, with seven years remaining on the lease and a rent review due in 2027.
The unit is located just minutes from the A13 and A406, immediately south of City Airport.
Jeremy Achkar, senior vice president of Valor, said: “This latest investment is fully aligned with our strategy of acquiring best in class, last-mile property across Europe’s major cities.”
Thomas Blangy, senior vice president of QuadReal, added: “Together with Valor we have built a high-quality portfolio of well located industrial and logistics assets representing almost 585,000 sq m of space across Europe and the UK. This latest investment is in line with our global investment strategy of targeting high-growth urban logistics hubs where supply constraints create significant potential for value creation.”
Valor was advised by Knight Frank and the vendor was advised by JLL.
