Newmark Group has bolstered its purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) multifamily capital markets team in London by hiring Andrew Smith and Harriet Bantock as a senior leader and senior associate respectively.
Smith was formerly the head of student accommodation at Cushman & Wakefield and Bantock was an associate at Cushman & Wakefield.

There remains a lack of quality PBSA stock, so the markets are behaving with more nuance than ever.
