Garnalex has secured planning permission to build a new 350,000 sq ft manufacturing facility on a 23.75-hectare site in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.
The planning permission totals 1,000,500 sq ft with Phase One of the development dedicated to the new factory and the remaining Phase Two space comprising additional Garnalex facilities.
Planning consultancy Nineteen47 supported the aluminium trade extruder business with the preparation of its hybrid planning application for the site, which is located within the green belt.
This development will feature significant tree planting and bunding to provide screening and will deliver an 11% increase in biodiversity net gain.
