Cushman & Wakefield has promoted James Woolley to the role of head of UK student accommodation.
Woolley, who has specialised in the purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) market for the past 14 years, joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2021 as a partner to lead PBSA valuations.
In his new role, he will head up the entire UK student accommodation team at the firm and have a personal focus on capital markets.
Cushman & Wakefield has also promoted Edmund Hendry to partner in the national PBSA capital markets team. The firm’s valuation business will now be led by Charlie Armour, who was recently promoted to partner.
