Indurent has let a 110,000 sq ft unit at Indurent Park Chippenham to interiors and furniture design company Herman Miller on a build-to-suit basis.
The new unit will be completed in early 2026. At Indurent Park Derby (pictured), the company has also let a 27,600 sq ft unit to Sinoboom.
In Q1 2025, Indurent said it completed 195 transactions totalling circa 1m sq ft. More than three quarters (76%) of the transactions were new leases and renewals with the remainder comprising rent reviews. The majority (86%) of leases were for sub-10,000 sq ft urban multi-let industrial units.
Simon Ross, head of portfolio management at Indurent, said: “Despite continuing economic uncertainty, demand for modern I&L space remains robust across the key UK markets, particularly for mid-box and MLI assets. Based on the record enquiry levels we received in the first three months of the year, this positive leasing momentum looks set to continue.
“Businesses, particularly SMEs, not only want well-located, sustainable workspaces, they demand a frictionless experience and the ability to expand and contract as their circumstances change. Our continued investment in our tech-enabled operating platform and focus on customer service is helping to drive leasing activity and keep occupancy very high across a granular portfolio.”
