Savills has signed for 10,000 sq ft at FORE Partnership’s Cadworks office scheme on Cadogan Street in Glasgow city centre.
The real estate adviser has agreed a 10-year lease on the space and will relocate to the building from its current 8,000 sq ft home on West George Street in September.
The 94,431 sq ft Grade A office scheme has achieved BREEAM Excellent certification and is targeting an EPC A rating.
David Cobban, director, office agency and head of Savills Glasgow, said: “Our office space is an important reflection of our business and the talent we want to attract and retain and this is therefore a significant move that reinforces our commitment to the city, as well as our expansion over recent years. Cadworks is a flagship office building in Glasgow offering the best in quality and sustainability and we are very excited to be calling this our new home from September.”
Basil Demeroutis, managing partner at FORE Partnership, added: “Cadworks is our flagship Glasgow development and Savills arrival at the building, which is now almost fully let, is testament to the work we have done to create the city’s most innovative, future-proofed workspace. That a property firm of the heritage and stature of Savills recognises Cadworks as best-in-class, shows that low carbon, high social impact spaces create a thriving tenant community, which is fundamental to attracting and retaining investment in Glasgow.”
FORE Partnership was advised by Avison Young.
