Regal has secured planing consent from Camden Council to deliver 442 homes across two schemes in Swiss Cottage and Camden Town.
At 100 Avenue Road (pictured), Regal has secured consent for a revised scheme to revive a long-stalled development. The approved plans retain the original building’s height and massing but deliver substantial improvements with the number of homes increased from 184 to 237, including 70 affordable homes across social, affordable rent and intermediate tenures.
Regal also got the green light for its joint venture scheme with 4C Group at 33–35 Jamestown Road and 211 Arlington Road in Camden Town, which will deliver 178 purpose-built student bedrooms, 27 affordable homes and more than 3,600 sq ft of commercial space.
Designed by Morris+Company, the scheme wraps around a historic pub and the student accommodation element will be supported by dedicated wellbeing and study areas.

These are not off-the-shelf schemes: they bring forward genuinely affordable homes, much-needed student accommodation, and high-quality public realm in two very different but equally important locations.
