Keepmoat has appointed Warren Thompson as regional managing director for the Yorkshire west region.
Thompson, who has more than 30 years of industry experience, was formerly northern divisional managing director at Miller Homes and regional chief executive at Redrow.
In his new role, he will focus on implementing land, construction and leadership strategies across the team, to drive growth and deliver high quality, much needed affordable new homes for local people.
Thompson said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed by such a well-established, national homebuilder as it embarks on an exciting regional growth journey. I’m also looking forward to supporting a fantastic team to grow a pipeline of land opportunities and in the long-term it is my vision to increase our delivery to more than 750 homes per year.
“This move is particularly meaningful for me. I previously worked with Keepmoat as part of my role at Bramall Construction, a former arm of the housebuilder that focussed on regeneration. Returning now feels like an opportunity to complete some unfinished business with the group and support the region’s growth. I’ve been incredibly impressed by the experienced and motivated team already in place here and by the quality of the regional office and facilities which plays an important role as we look to recruit and grow our team across the region.”
