Altered Space has let a 25,000 sq ft unit at its Cockhedge scheme in Warrington to Rocafella Leisure Group for a new slide park.
The venue, which will be a first of its kind in the UK, has been named ‘Slidie Sliderson’ and will offer a family-friendly entertainment experience for all ages.
Chris Hayes, founder and managing director of Rocafella Leisure Group, said: “What drew us to Cockhedge was the clear vision for revitalisation and the opportunity to be part of a transformative development. The regeneration aligns with our mission to create unique, innovative, family-friendly destinations.
“The location is ideal for Slidie Sliderson, which brings a fresh, innovative attraction to the North West of England with never before seen attractions. We are keen to add to the local community and we will be creating 35 to 40 new jobs as well as looking to support local junior sports clubs by striking up strategic partnerships.”
