Global architecture and design firm Gensler has signed for additional office space at Resolution Property’s Building 6 at the Moretown campus in Central London.

Gensler, which designed and transformed the entire building, has taken the 7,681 sq ft fourth floor on a nine-year lease, adding to the company’s existing 32,870 sq ft across the lower levels of the building.

Following completion of the deal, Gensler is the sole occupier of Building 6 and its total footprint at Moretown now stands at 40,551 sq ft.

Resolution Property acquired Moretown in 2016 and has transformed the seven-building estate into a mixed-use destination through a programme of placemaking and design-led refurbishment.

Etain Markey, asset manager at Resolution Property, said: “We are pleased to welcome the Gensler team to the fourth floor of Building 6. Their continued growth at Moretown is a testament to the quality of the space we’ve created and the strength of our occupier relationships. This deal reinforces our commitment to delivering inspiring, sustainable workplaces that meet the evolving needs of today’s businesses.”

Duncan Swinhoe, managing principal Europe at Gensler, added: “Expanding our footprint at our home in Building 6 at Moretown reflects the continued growth of our business and our need for a workspace that supports flexible, collaborative working. Having designed the building ourselves, we’ve curated a space that aligns with our values and needs as we continue to lead transformative projects in London and around the globe from our European hub.”

Resolution Property was advised by Allsop and Newmark and Gensler was advised by Cushman & Wakefield.
