UK-based real estate operating partner and investment manager ARGO Real Estate has appointed Hope Ayers as asset manager.

Ayers, who has more than eight years of experience in the real estate industry, previously held roles at JLL and Cushman & Wakefield, where she specialised in industrial and logistics.

She most recently worked in JLL’s industrial tenant representation team, advising a range of clients including DP World, Warburtons and Iron Mountain.

In her new role, she will be instrumental in driving ARGO’s asset management strategies, helping to transform underperforming industrial estates into best-in-class sustainable properties, and will play a key part in ARGO’s recently launched £500m brown-to-green urban logistics platform with Blue Coast Capital.

Mark Kelly, head of asset management at ARGO Real Estate, said: “We welcome Hope to the team. Her deep sector knowledge and occupier-side experience will be invaluable, with her arrival strengthening our ability to deliver on our strategic growth plans and meet the evolving needs of our tenants and investors.”

Ayers added: “It’s exciting to be joining ARGO at such an important time for the business. The firm’s focus on sustainable repositioning in the logistics sector aligns perfectly with my experience and passion for the asset class. I look forward to contributing to the success of the portfolio and helping to drive long-term value for all stakeholders.”
