The government has appointed Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer partner Catherine Howard to advise on the next phase of its planning reforms.
Howard specialises in major infrastructure projects and is an expert in development consent orders.
The Planning and Infrastructure Bill is currently going through Parliament and Howard will initially work up to four days a week on an unpaid basis for the government until the Autumn Budget.
