Electric vehicle (EV) charge point operator Be.EV has instructed Rapleys to find a number of new sites across the UK.

Rapleys has been tasked with identifying and acquiring sites, such as drive-thrus and F&B car parking, retail parks and other locations with heavy traffic and strong vehicle movement, for fully-funded EV charging infrastructure installation.

Priority areas include London, the South East, Birmingham, the West Midlands, the South Coast, the East Midlands, South Wales and the M4 corridor, Leeds, Sheffield and Liverpool.

Daniel Cook, head of automotive, roadside and future fuels at Rapleys, said: “Be.EV is a leading charge point operator and we are delighted to be partnering with them to accelerate their growth across the UK. Our automotive, roadside and future fuels business has been a core sector for Rapleys for many years now and we keep going from strength-to-strength. We added an expanded ‘future fuels’ service last year having anticipated client demands to embed this specific service into the business. We are now working with leading brands to help them grow their coverage in the sector and Joshua is a very welcome addition to the team with his background in connectivity and EVs in particular.”

Joshua Klepper, who was recently appointed as an associate partner in Rapleys’ commercial agency team, added: “Rapleys is one of the market leaders in the automotive sector and I am delighted to play a part in its future growth story and to bring relationships across to benefit from their wider lifecycle offering, including agency to professional, building, development and planning services. The breadth of client projects underpins their position as the go-to advisor in the industry.”
