Specialist development, refurbishment and bridging lender Avamore Capital has promoted director of sales and marketing Adam Butler to the company’s board.
Butler joined the company in April 2020 as a relationship manager and served as head of sales at Avamore prior to his promotion to director of sales and marketing earlier this year.
Michael Dean, director and co-founder of Avamore Capital, said: “Adam’s promotion to the board is the natural next step in a journey of nearly six years of consistent contribution and self-improvement. When he joined in April 2020, our funding had been paused due to Covid. We had no active products and everyone was working remotely. Despite the circumstances, Adam was proactive from day one – engaging brokers, learning the market and building relationships.
“As conditions improved, he became instrumental in helping Avamore re-enter the market competitively, constantly putting forward ideas to add value. Over the next two years, he consistently led the origination team and started mentoring junior colleagues – leading to his promotion to head of sales.
“In a tough lending environment, Adam’s leadership matured further. His promotion to director of sales and marketing in early 2025 reflected both his sales performance and growing influence across the business, including work with Kym [McEnhill] on marketing strategy and a record-breaking origination month in July. He has also played a key role in our Hexagon operating committee, making his move to the board a natural progression.
“Adam has also been a central figure in advancing our tech-enabled lending approach, using data to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. This aligns directly with our long-term goal of building a responsive, innovative and relationship-driven lender.”
