DWS has acquired the 280,222 sq ft Charlton Depot logistics facility in Greenwich for an undisclosed price.
The warehouse, which sits on a 17.8-acre site, was originally constructed in 1970 and fully redeveloped in 2012. It is let to Sainsbury’s, which uses it as the principle distribution centre for its convenience stores across South London and the South East.
The property features solar panels and rainwater harvesting systems and has an EPC A rating.
Hugo Vere, lead portfolio manager at DWS, said: “This acquisition aligns with our strategy to invest in high quality, core logistics assets in established urban locations, supporting resilient income and long term value creation for investors.”
