Downing has submitted a planning application to redevelop an NCP multi-storey car park and ground floor commercial units on Nelson Street in Bristol into a purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme.
The 12-storey development will provide 331 bedrooms across a mix of studios, cluster flats and accessible rooms. The scheme will also feature active ground floor uses and public realm improvements.
Situated in the heart of the city between Lewins Mead, St James Barton and the adjoining Old City, the development is located a five-minute walk from Bristol bus station and 20 minutes from Temple Meads station.
