Muse has appointed Grace Alderson as senior development manager in its Yorkshire and North East team.

Alderson joins Muse following eight years at Vistry Group, where she progressed from graduate trainee to head of development.

In her new role, she will support the delivery of major placemaking projects in Gateshead and Bradford, helping to deliver welcoming, well-connected places, designed around people.

Alderson said: “I’m pleased to join Muse’s Yorkshire and North East team at such a pivotal time, as several exciting projects move into their next phase of delivery. The work the Muse team do in placemaking and regeneration can have a truly transformative impact on the local communities they work with, turning underused spaces into inclusive, vibrant destinations.”

Simon Dew, director of development management, added: “Grace’s arrival strengthens our ability to deliver long-term regeneration with communities at its heart. She brings a blend of technical expertise and genuine passion for placemaking, shaped by years of working on complex, mixed-use neighbourhoods. Her experience will be invaluable as we progress our work in Gateshead and Bradford alongside our local authority partners, helping to create places that support people, businesses and the wider region.”
