Greencore Homes has appointed housing industry stalwart Helen Moore as board chair.
Moore, who has more than 35 years’ experience, has previously held senior roles at Countryside and Crest Nicholson and led transformation and growth at City & Country and Orbit Homes, the development arm of Orbit Group.
She currently advises boards and investors on strategy, governance and organisational performance.
Moore said: “Greencore Homes has established itself as a leader in better than net zero homes, helping to address some of the biggest challenges facing the housing sector. It is an exciting time to join the business as chair, with ambitious plans for growth, a clear mission to create both sustainable and healthier homes and a leadership team and investors who are passionate about that vision. I look forward to working with the board and the wider team to support the company’s next phase of growth.”
Jon Di-Stefano, CEO of Greencore Homes, added: “Helen brings exceptional experience across the housebuilding industry, with deep expertise in governance, strategy and performance. Her insight will be invaluable as we build on our momentum and continue to grow. Our goal remains clear; to show that housebuilding can, and should, deliver more for people, communities and the planet. I would also like to thank Martin Pike for his leadership during a period of significant growth and change for the business. Throughout that time, he has been a passionate supporter of Greencore Homes and a valued mentor to the team.”
