Industrial and logistics valuation expert Michael Thompson has returned to Cushman & Wakefield as partner and head of logistics valuation and advisory in the UK.

Thompson, who has 30 years’ experience of commercial real estate valuation, spent more than 14 years at Cushman & Wakefield prior to joining JLL, where he had a senior leadership role in the firm’s industrial and logistics valuation team.

After a decade away, he has rejoined Cushman & Wakefield where he will work closely with Christopher Jones, Richard Hunter and Rob Pritchard, further strengthening the firm’s logistics valuation and advisory capability.

Tom Nuttall, head of valuation and advisory UK at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Michael brings three decades of experience and an impressive track record in delivering trusted advice to clients. His appointment reflects our continued commitment to attracting the best talent across our business.”

Thompson added: “It is a pleasure to be returning to Cushman & Wakefield and working with a team that is so highly regarded across the market. I look forward to supporting our clients with thoughtful, value‑driven advice.”
