Carter Jonas has appointed Simon McConnell as an equity partner in its latest round of promotions.
McConnell (pictured), who has more than 38 years’ experience in the residential sales market, joined Carter Jonas in 2019 and serves on the firm’s residential board as Oxford office head, and leads its residential sales teams across the South and South West.
The firm has also promoted Kirstie Watts (residential, Cambridge), Hugh O’Donnell (rural, Shrewsbury & Bangor) and Sam Ellis-Cosgrove (infrastructure, Birmingham) to group partner level.
James Bainbridge, chairman of Carter Jonas, said: “As we continue to drive forward the Vision 2030 growth strategy launched last year, setting out plans for our ever-evolving business, these promotions recognise the breadth of talent, expertise and leadership across the firm. Supporting our people and creating opportunities for them to grow, develop and thrive is absolutely central to who we are as a partnership. It underpins a collaborative work environment, strengthens our culture and enhances the service and value we bring to our clients.
“I am delighted to recognise the valuable contributions each individual has made, and it is a pleasure to celebrate their achievements. I would particularly like to recognise Simon McConnell as he joins the equity partnership. He brings trusted advice, excellent sector expertise and strong leadership, and is highly regarded by clients and colleagues alike. He will make a significant contribution as we deliver the next phase of our strategy.”
