MAPP has appointed Tim Saunders as non-executive chair.
Saunders, who has more than three decades of high-level real estate and corporate leadership experience, is currently non-executive chairman of Chelverton Asset Management and a non-executive director at Thriving Investments.
He previously worked as fund director at PfP Capital, led the development of Places for People Group’s first private rented sector (PRS) funding vehicle, and spent a significant amount of time at Touchstone as chief executive.
In his new role, Saunders will leverage his extensive experience in business differentiation and corporate governance to steer and support the board and CEO Louise Bonham.
Saunders said: “I have long admired MAPP’s distinctive and quality focused approach to the operation of property and, specifically, their clear operational commitment to values-led delivery. I look forward to supporting Louise and the team as we build on the strong and creative foundation laid by MAPP’s founder, Nigel Mapp.”
Bonham added: “We are so pleased to welcome Tim to the board. As I continue to lead MAPP through this period of huge technological and social change having Tim’s independent perspective and deep expertise in business differentiation will be invaluable. With a shared love of singing, Tim and I look forward to continuing to deliver Operational Harmony for our clients, occupiers, employees and supply partners.”
