Worthing Borough Council has put a 17.5-acre industrial development site on Dominion Way in Worthing up for sale.
Decoy Farm is being sold with consent in place for a 170,455 sq ft scheme comprising 18 units ranging from 4,800 sq ft to 28,200 sq ft.
The 17.5-acre site has a net developable area of circa 8.64 acres and is situated to the north east of Worthing town centre within an established industrial and employment hub.
The remediated, former landfill site is accessed via the A27, the principal east-west arterial route along the South Coast, which provides onward links to the A23/M23 for London and Gatwick Airport and to the A24 for connections northwards. In addition, Shoreham Port lies approximately 6.1 miles to the east of the site.
Duncan Marsh, partner at SHW, which has been appointed to market the opportunity alongside LSH, said: “With a shortage of supply and strong demand for new build premises in the area, Decoy farm offers a rare opportunity in the region to create a high quality development providing a range of warehouse and light industrial units to suit a variety of occupiers.”
