Joint venture partners Hampton Brook and NFU Mutual have pre-let a 73,063 sq ft building at the 145,412 sq ft Shenley Wood scheme in Milton Keynes to Routeco.
The industrial automation and control distributor will relocate to its new purpose-built UK headquarters from its existing premises in Knowlhill.
The Shenley Wood scheme, which is located just off H6 Childs Way, comprises two industrial and logistics units with the second unit of 72,349 sq ft still available to let.
Ian Jackson, director at Hampton Brook, said: “Securing Routeco on a pre-let basis has been central to the success of this development. It demonstrates both the strength of demand for high quality, sustainable space and the importance of delivering tailored solutions for growing businesses. We are proud to have supported Routeco in delivering its new headquarters in Milton Keynes.”
Dave Amps, managing director of Routeco, added: “We are delighted to have worked with Hampton Brook to design and deliver a bespoke facility for our new headquarters. This investment supports our continued growth and strengthens our long-term commitment to Milton Keynes.”
Eamon Kennedy, partner at BTG Eddisons, which acted for Routeco, added: “Having advised Routeco over a number of years in its search for a new headquarters, we are pleased to see the company secure a high quality, future-proofed facility that supports its ongoing expansion.”
