BidX1 has appointed Darren Simpson as managing director of its UK business.
Simpson, who has almost four decades of experience spanning estate agency, residential property, international development and business leadership, previously spent more than 16 years as group operations director and co-owner of Chancellors.
Earlier in his career, he held several senior leadership positions, including chief operating officer at Foxtons, managing director of Gascoigne Pees and Carson & Company for Countrywide, and European general manager for DAMAC Properties.
In his new role, he will lead the company’s UK growth strategy, overseeing regional expansion and acquisitions.
