Aviva Investors has appointed David Hedalen, formerly of abrdn, as head of real assets research.
Hedalen, who will report to Melanie Collett, managing director, asset management, real assets at Aviva Investors, will be based in London and be responsible for providing strategic research leadership across Aviva Investors’ £43bn real assets platform.
Hedalen spent the last 12 years at abrdn where he was head of UK and European investment strategy for real estate. He previously held roles at Investment Property Databank and M&G Investments.
