A UAE-based investor has acquired Hotel Indigo Kensington for £40m, marking the investor’s first deal in the UK.

The 100-key boutique hotel is situated on Barkston Gardens in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, moments from Earl’s Court underground station.

Vishal Patel, principal of Prideview Group (capital markets), which advised the investor on the purchase, said:”We are delighted to have supported our client on their first acquisition in the UK. Successfully delivering this transaction demonstrates the value of combining local market expertise with a hands-on approach that supports international investors throughout every stage of the process.

“This also represents an important milestone for our capital markets division, which was established to connect overseas capital with high quality opportunities across the UK.”

The property was sold by Michael Elliott and JLL.
