Abrdn has completed a trio of lettings totalling 25,000 sq ft at The Pinnacle office building in Milton Keynes, on behalf of a pension fund client.

MHA, Woodfines Solicitors and Mercer & Hole are all relocating from existing sites in the city to the building, which is currently undergoing a refurbishment and repositioning by abrdn.

Ben Buckley Sharp, fund manager at abrdn, said: “The office sector has evolved significantly over the last 15 years, and this has been accelerated post-Covid by the occupier appetite for buildings with strong ESG credentials and enhanced health and wellbeing amenity for their staff. As part of our proactive asset management philosophy, we are taking the opportunity to reposition The Pinnacle with a significant investment programme to benefit both our existing occupiers, but also to respond to the demand for a first-class working environment.

“The works will create a brand-new stunning reception entrance to the building with a café and enhanced business lounge facility, as well as a new urban courtyard garden space providing additional break out and recreational facilities for the occupiers and their guests.  We are also improving the health and wellbeing provision, with an enhanced number of secure cycle lockers and improved shower facilities for staff who enjoy a more active journey to work.

“Abrdn has invested in and managed this key asset for over 15 years and this latest round of investment reflects our belief in a vibrant Milton Keynes office market and our commitment to create a quality office environment at The Pinnacle.”
