Sandyford Properties has let a 7,250 sq ft unit at the recently refurbished Brymau 2 industrial estate in Saltney to global automation equipment supplier MTorres.

Sandyford acquired Brymau 2 and Brymau 6 industrial estates west of Chester from Brymau Estates in March 2021.

The estates were previously occupied by food manufacturer The English Provender Company and after the company left Sandyford started the process of refurbishing and repositioning the estates. Following completion of the letting to MTorres the estates are now fully let.

Paul Brindley, managing director of Sandyford Properties, said: “Our significant asset management plan over the last 18 months has been very successful. The two estates have been fully refurbished and repositioned and now have a strong and varied tenant line-up which has added significant value. The total rent is now 44% higher than when we acquired them and the lease period has increased from less than one year to 8.5 years.”

Sandyford was advised by Legat Owen and B8 Real Estate. Hill Dickinson provided legal advice.
