Angle Property has purchased the 35,000 sq ft former Domino’s Pizza headquarters on Lasborough Road, Kingston, in Milton Keynes, for an undisclosed price.

The vacant warehouse, which was built in 2000, occupies a 3.18-acre site and Angle intends to create a single urban logistics warehouse of circa 58,000 sq ft, including circa 5,000 sq ft of Cat A office space, by refurbishing and extending the existing building.

ESG will be imbedded into all stages of the design of the new £12m GDV scheme, which will be targeting BREEAM Excellent and EPC A.

This is the fourth purchase Angle has made for its Angle Opportunity Fund, which launched in 2021 with the aim of securing valuable planning consents or unlocking development potential and subsequently selling completed projects.

Tony Williamson, director of Angle Property, said: “We are very pleased to have secured this site for the Angle Opportunity Fund. The site is located in Kingston, a seven-minute drive from junction 14 of the M1 and will provide for much needed Grade A mid-box space.

“This acquisition demonstrates Angle Property’s ability to transact on opportunities in markets with strong fundamentals. This site was marketed through a highly competitive bid process and Angle Property completed the acquisition on a completely unconditional basis in seven working days of receiving the draft contract which demonstrates our excellent ability to transact quickly and efficiently. We are well funded, highly acquisitive and looking for similar opportunities throughout the south Midlands and South East”

Louch Shacklock and Colliers are joint lettings/investment agents on the development, which will be marketed to occupiers on a freehold and leasehold basis.
