European healthcare real estate platform Arcura Medical Properties has appointed Rina Patel as chief financial officer.

Patel, who has more than 20 years of experience across real estate investment, finance, governance, fund structures and institutional asset management, joins Arcura from Generation Partners, where she served as chief financial officer.

Prior to that, she held senior finance and risk roles at Pantheon Ventures, Orion Asset Management and Rowan Asset Management.

Simon Betty, chief executive officer of Arcura, said: “Rina brings a strong combination of institutional finance experience, hands-on platform building capability and deep real estate investment expertise. As Arcura continues to grow, her leadership will be important in building the financial infrastructure, governance and operating discipline required to support our next phase. We are very pleased to welcome Rina to Arcura.”

Patel added: “I am delighted to be joining Arcura Medical Properties at such an exciting stage in its development. Arcura has a clear specialist focus, a high quality portfolio and significant opportunity ahead. I look forward to partnering with Simon and the wider team to support the platform’s continued growth and long-term success.”
