ARGO Real Estate has launched a new £500m brown-to-green urban logistics platform, having secured “significant backing” from cornerstone investor Blue Coast Capital.
The platform aims to reposition urban logistics investment assets that are ripe for refurbishment into best-in-class sustainable properties in economically strong and densely populated UK cities and towns.
The platform’s first acquisition is Tuscam Trading Estate in Camberley, Surrey (pictured). The 183,000 sq ft under-rented industrial estate will now undergo a comprehensive refurbishment to provide modern, sustainable accommodation, unlocking substantial rental reversion and capital uplift.
A pipeline of further acquisitions has already been identified and additional deals are expected to complete in the near future.
