Arrow Capital Partners has leased the 81,076 sq ft Aviator 80 logistics unit at Ellesmere Port, in Cheshire, to Gwynedd Shipping on a 10-year lease.

Aviator 80 is one of two properties comprising phase two of the development, which is part of Arrow’s €3bn Strategic Industrial Real Estate (SIRE) joint venture with Cerberus.

The second unit, a 198,869 sq ft distribution and manufacturing facility called Aviator 200, is still available.

Rob Howe, head of European real estate at Arrow Capital Partners, said: “To have signed this lease so soon after completing the speculative development of phase two highlights the continued attractiveness of these big box logistics and distribution facilities in the North West of England.

“It also provides evidence to the market that the underlying structural trends driving the growth in demand for large, well-located logistics assets remain relevant despite recent volatility.”

Arrow Capital Partners and Cerberus were advised by B8 Real Estate and M1 Agency. BA Commercial advised Gwynedd Shipping.
