New York-based craft burgers and beers group Black Tap has appointed Gillingham Bell International and Highland Global to manage its expansion into London as part of an ambitious global roll out.
Founded by New York entrepreneur Chris Barish in 2015 in Soho (NYC), Black Tap currently operates sites in New York, Las Vegas, Dubai, Singapore and Geneva, and has teamed up with Sunny Sooner to bring the venture to London.
Black Tap is initially looking for three prime sites in Central London of between 3,000-4,000 sq ft and hopes to open its first location by summer 2023.
Kooner is the founder and managing director of the Old Northampton Group, which owns several restaurants and properties in the UK. Prior to that he was a director at a US investment bank.
