Avison Young appoints head of corporate finance

Avison Young has appointed Graham Barnes as director and head of corporate finance, capital markets.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Barnes, who has more than 35 years of experience in strategic advisory, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising and restructuring across multiple property sectors, held senior roles in a number of commercial real estate businesses, including serving for more than a decade as executive director, real estate investment banking at CBRE.

In his new role, Barnes will be based in Avison Young’s London headquarters and will lead the growth of its corporate finance offering.
