Aviva Investors has completed two office leasing deals totalling 8,700 sq ft at 30 Golden Square in Soho, London.
The lettings follow the practical completion of a comprehensive sustainability-led refurbishment project, which is part of ongoing work by Aviva Investors to reduce the carbon intensity of existing buildings in its portfolio.
The decarbonisation works at 30 Golden Square are estimated to have reduced the building’s CO2 emissions by 58 tonnes per annum – a reduction of more than 62% – with the building on track to receive a BREEAM Excellent rating.
Ed Atterwill, head of Central London at Aviva Investors, said: “It is great to welcome two more dynamic and high-quality organisations to 30 Golden Square. We believe these are amongst the strongest-ever rents achieved in the Soho market, showing the continued demand from businesses for high-quality central London offices which can cater to their evolving needs, whilst also minimising exposure to sustainability-related obsolescence. All of this should position Golden Square well for strong long-term performance.”
