CBRE has appointed Irvinder Goodhew from Alvarez & Marshall as managing director for UK sectors, effective from 10 March 2025.
Goodhew will succeed Guy Holden, who is retiring after nine years at the company.
At Alvarez & Marsal, she is a managing director in the corporate transformation group and she has also served as a non-executive director at British Land for four years, a position she will step down from on 1 March 2025.
Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Goodhew led major major transformation initiatives focused on value generation at organisations including Lloyds Banking Group, Sainsbury’s and Kearney.
In her new role, she will lead CBREs go-to-market sector strategy in the UK, covering sectors including life sciences, the public sector and industrial and logistics.
Ciaran Bird, divisional president, CBRE advisory services, CEO, UK and Ireland, said: “We are delighted to welcome Irvinder to the team. I’m confident that Irvinder will continue the momentum set by Guy Holden, working with our sector specialists across the business to further develop our sector strategy. Irvinder has an outstanding track record leading large-scale, complex FTSE 100 transformations, including board-level roles, and I’m sure her expertise will be invaluable as we continue to deliver top-tier solutions for our clients.”
Goodhew added: “This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading advisory firm and I look forward to building on my experience within real estate. The ongoing economic challenges are providing opportunities for firms that have a clearly differentiated offering and I will be focused on further developing our sector expertise.”
