Colliers has bolstered its specialist healthcare team recruiting two new associate directors from Fleurets.
Alison Willoughby has more than 15 years’ experience in the sector providing transactional advice for providers of residential, nursing, dementia and specialist care across the north of England and Scotland, and Peter Scholes has a decade of experience and will provide valuation services across all healthcare asset types.
Adam Lenton, head of the healthcare team at Colliers, said: “With an aging population and the subsequent acute illnesses that come with this, there’s increasing demand for care-based property advice across private and NHS providers. There are significant challenges to the market currently, not least providing care in the right building, but also in the right location.
“Also, as across all sectors, there’s the challenge of meeting sustainability demands and environmental concerns in healthcare property, alongside increasing operational costs, which is why it’s essential we invest in providing the right expertise for our clients.
“We’re pleased to welcome Alison who has a vast range of experience in handling complex transactions for clients including the National Care Consortium and Bondcare ensuring that businesses are able to continue to provide valuable services to their communities throughout the process.
“Peter will continue to work closely alongside Alison and our existing clients, providing the specialist advice that our clients need during what is a difficult time in the market.”
