The Department for Education (DfE) has selected GRAHAM to deliver the major redevelopment of The Castle Rock School in Coalville, Leicestershire.

The £37m project includes the construction of a new, two-storey school building and the refurbishment and remodelling of a retained building.

The project also includes the creation of new outdoor learning and play areas, a three-court multi-use games area (MUGA), including the provision of new sports pitches, and wider improvements across the school site.

Lindsey Crabtree, education director at GRAHAM, said: “Creating inspiring, resilient and future-focused learning environments sits at the heart of what we do at GRAHAM. The Castle Rock School project is about supporting the school’s ambitions and improving the day-to-day experience for pupils and teachers, while ensuring that the estate is ready for the next generation of learners. We are pleased to be working with the DfE and the school community to bring these plans forward.”
