Dunmoore has completed two lettings at its 21-acre commercial hub in Billingshurst, Sussex. Craft ale distributor Pig’s Ears Beer has signed a 10-year lease on a 12,647 sq ft warehouse and trade counter space in the hub’s second phase and International Diplomatic Supplies has signed a 10-year lease with a break option at year five for a 9,331 sq ft warehouse and office facility.
Construction on the second phase totalling 250,000 sq ft of industrial and business space, commenced early last year after Dunmoore signed a forward funding agreement with CBRE IM for the development of a Lidl supermarket, which opened at the end of last year.
Jeff Hobby, CEO of Dunmoore, said: “We are delighted to welcome both Pig’s Ears Beers and International Diplomatic Supplies to Billingshurst. Both are exactly the types of local, growing businesses we are looking to attract to the development. Having disposed of the trade park last year, our attention has now moved towards the second phase of the development.
“There is a real lack of quality business space in the local area, and, despite the uncertain economic climate, there are still good levels of occupier demand. We are in advanced discussions with a number of other occupiers to pre-let space.”
