Gardiner & Theobald (G&T) has signed for a new 54,939 sq ft London headquarters at MEAG’s 30 Finsbury Square development.
The company will occupy 3.5 floors of the 122,000 sq ft multi-tenanted office building which is currently under development. G&T’s lease will commence in 2028 with occupancy planned for Q3 2029.
The firm will continue to operate from its existing office at 10 South Crescent in Bloomsbury until the end of its lease in 2029.
Adam Glover, managing partner at G&T, said: “Securing our new headquarters at 30 Finsbury Square is an important milestone for G&T and a significant investment in our future. We wanted to find a workplace that would support the business over the long term – somewhere that works for our people, provides an excellent environment for our clients and gives us the flexibility to respond to how the firm continues to develop.
“Thirty Finsbury Square gives us the opportunity to create a workplace that reflects who we are as a business today and how we want to work in the future. We are very pleased to have reached this stage with MEAG and look forward to working with them as we develop our occupancy strategy.”
Dr Stefan Haas, board member and global head of real estate at MEAG, added: “We are delighted to welcome Gardiner & Theobald to 30 Finsbury Square. Their decision to make our development their future London headquarters is a strong endorsement of the quality of the development and the workplace we are creating. We look forward to working closely with them as construction progresses and to welcoming their teams to the building.”
