Plans to regenerate 34.86 hectares of brownfield land around Ebbsfleet International train station in Kent have been approved.
Ebbsfleet Development Corporation’s proposals for the Ebbsfleet Central East site include 2,100 homes of which 35% are designated affordable, 87,000 sq m of office space, retail and leisure facilities, new open spaces, healthcare facilities, a new school and community facilities.
The site has an extensive planning history, with Ebbsfleet Central earmarked for development in the early 2000’s. Ebbsfleet Development Corporation purchased the land in 2019 with the aim of transforming the site into an innovative and sustainable regional hub.
