Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management (REIM) has recruited Simon Ball to lead the finance and administrative functions of its UK business.
Ball, who has extensive experience across established and start-up private equity and real estate companies, was previously finance director at Castleforge Partners. In the past, he has also held fund controller roles at Europa and Palamon Capital Partners.
As managing director, head of finance and administration at Edmond de Rothschild REIM (UK), he will join the UK management committee, supporting its affordable housing and build-to-rent investment management and operating business.
Pierre Jacquot, co-CEO of Edmond de Rothschild REIM, said: “Simon brings 18 years’ finance experience and expertise to EdR REIM. He will play a key role in supporting the UK team in its growing accommodation strategy.”
